Spent
02:48
|
|||
all of your friends
they’ll all be dead
don’t wait til then
you won’t know when
the time you spend
might reach it's end
before you’ve said
the things you meant
gone is gone
don’t waste your time spent
with all that said
take every breath
you take as if
it grants a wish
regret’s a wraith
that shows it’s face
on every day
that we all waste

Thoughts and Prayers
02:44
|

There once was a guy with a big mouth
Big bucks and big pouts
He had a room full of mirrors
And the mind of a killer
Running around
Screaming about
Justification of his hate
And “The Storm” on the Deep State
What the fuck?
As if this country wasn’t bad enough
The kkk has made a voting bloc
10,000 Karens at the local park
Filming you walk your dog
And all the while the kids get shot
I wonder when this shit will stop
I’ve had enough
What will it take to get us mad enough
To rid this country of religious nuts
Stealing the rights of all of our citizens
To please a God made up by idiots
Running around
Screaming about
Thoughts and prayers for dead kids
That were shot down at recess
What the fuck?
As if this country wasn’t bad enough
The NRA has made a voting bloc
The armed mulletia in the parking lot
Of WalAmerica

Life Science

In this experiment: death is the constant, life is the variable.
In this experiment: hate is the constant, love is the variable.
In this experiment: war is the constant, peace is the variable
We are the rats.

No phone calls, no texts
No way to show my respect
No letter sent, no wellness-checks
No way for me to express that
It’s not what you think
Things that are easy, are still hard for me
I forget to breathe
Not the kind of thing that you would want happening It’s maddening
Scared of life, scared of death
Dry-drowning in my distress
No way out, no rain checks
No way for me to express (that)
It’s not what you think
Things that are easy, are still hard for me
I forget to breathe
Not the kind of thing that you would want happening
It’s maddening

At Ease
03:35

As you were, as if I wasn’t here. Just pretend it’s every other day that we spend together in disgrace, in this place built from our disgrace. Broken dreams made while we weren’t even sleeping, only speaking. These harsh words get us foaming at the face. But what’s worse is that you will remain as you were.

We All Die Young
03:29
|

The moon was waning. The cameras never stopped. We all watched you die. The fire was blazing. The light blocked out the stars. Jupiter was lost, and then there was the Sun, shining down. And then there was nothing but silence screaming out, reminding us we all die young.
The earth was wasting across from shore to shore, soon there’d be no more. We tired of waiting and took the land by force. Nature ran it’s course, and then there was the Sun…

Spare Room

No lessons learned in here
Question every word you hear
This could get much worse, I fear
Every act a battle
No rent in here
No vents in here
No pets
Spare room
